Buck Ridge Hideaway became home to my parents, Buck and Juanita Cox, back in 1962 and has been part of the Cox family farm ever since. The house was built back in the early 1900's, from rough sawn timber and my parents, being a young married couple, fell in love with the property. Here is where my parents started their farm, raising cattle, both dairy and beef until their death a few years ago.
My dad really loved this house and spent a lot of time here, even after he and my mom built a new house across the creek. Many times, after my mom passed away, I would visit my dad only to find him "hiding away" up on the ridge at the cottage.
It has been a dream of mine to restore this house and share the love my dad had for this peaceful place with others. That dream has finally come true and my family and I want to welcome you to Buck Ridge Hideaway. Enjoy!
